Memorial Pottery
Traditionally, urns are the common way of holding our loved one’s cremains. Urns can be made from different mediums such as wood, glass, plastic and ceramic. Late Waning Memorial Pottery can be personalized and created with your loved one in mind. Memorial pottery is a piece of reverence and tribute.
Sacred Vessel Memorial Pottery offers hand thrown and built pieces to hold cremains and/or pieces adorned with cremains amended glazes. Cremains amended glazes are glaze recipes that include your loved one’s ashes. No two pieces turn out the same. This service is available for both human and animal ashes.
Memorial pottery made in my studio is handled with diligence and respect. I generally request about 100 grams of ash. Cremains are strictly cared for and do not leave my possession until the piece is in your hands.
